 (1/2)∫_( 0) ^( 1) ((ln(a − 1))/a) da

1201ln(a1)ada

Not defined ! But (1/2)∫_0 ^1 ((ln(1−a))/a)da is .Let named it I Let recall that (1/(1−a))=Σ_(n≥0) a^n for ∣a∣<1 So by integrating −ln(1−a)=Σ_(n≥1) (a^n /n) Then −2I=Σ_(n≥1) (1/n)∫_0 ^1 a^(n−1) da=Σ_(n≥1) (1/n^2 )=ζ(2) So I=−(π^2 /(12))

Notdefined!But1201ln(1a)adais.LetnameditILetrecallthat11a=n0anfora∣<1Sobyintegratingln(1a)=n1annThen2I=n11n01an1da=n11n2=ζ(2)SoI=π212
