The period of a simple pendulum A is 6 secs. Find the period of a simple pendulum B, if A makes 30 oscillation in the time it takes B to make 70 oscillation.

30T_A =70T_B   ⇒T_B =((30)/(70))×6=((18)/7)≈2.6 sec

$$\mathrm{30}{T}_{{A}} =\mathrm{70}{T}_{{B}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{T}_{{B}} =\frac{\mathrm{30}}{\mathrm{70}}×\mathrm{6}=\frac{\mathrm{18}}{\mathrm{7}}\approx\mathrm{2}.\mathrm{6}\:{sec} \\ $$
