3x+8=17  ⇒3x=17−8=9  ⇒x=3

$$\mathrm{3}{x}+\mathrm{8}=\mathrm{17} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\mathrm{3}{x}=\mathrm{17}−\mathrm{8}=\mathrm{9} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\mathrm{3} \\ $$

2b=a+c.

$$\mathrm{2}{b}={a}+{c}. \\ $$

Answered by prakash jain last updated on 11/Dec/17

2b=a+c  2×(4P−6)=3P−2+P+2=4P  8P−12=4P⇒4P=12⇒P=3

$$\mathrm{2}{b}={a}+{c} \\ $$$$\mathrm{2}×\left(\mathrm{4}{P}−\mathrm{6}\right)=\mathrm{3}{P}−\mathrm{2}+{P}+\mathrm{2}=\mathrm{4}{P} \\ $$$$\mathrm{8}{P}−\mathrm{12}=\mathrm{4}{P}\Rightarrow\mathrm{4}{P}=\mathrm{12}\Rightarrow{P}=\mathrm{3} \\ $$

Answered by abwayh last updated on 11/Dec/17

(4p−6)−(p+2)=(3p−2)−(4p−6)  4p−p−6−2=3p−4p−2+6  3p−8=−p+4  4p=12  p=3

$$\left(\mathrm{4p}−\mathrm{6}\right)−\left(\mathrm{p}+\mathrm{2}\right)=\left(\mathrm{3p}−\mathrm{2}\right)−\left(\mathrm{4p}−\mathrm{6}\right) \\ $$$$\mathrm{4p}−\mathrm{p}−\mathrm{6}−\mathrm{2}=\mathrm{3p}−\mathrm{4p}−\mathrm{2}+\mathrm{6} \\ $$$$\mathrm{3p}−\mathrm{8}=−\mathrm{p}+\mathrm{4} \\ $$$$\mathrm{4p}=\mathrm{12} \\ $$$$\mathrm{p}=\mathrm{3} \\ $$
