Question Number 25600 by Mcfaithal last updated on 11/Dec/17

A block pulled along a horizontal floo by a horizontal rope. The tension in the rope is 500N and the blocks moves at a constant speed of 2.75ms^(−1.) Find the work done by the tension in 40s and also find the power applied by the tension. GUYS PLS HELP

W=Fs=Fvt=(500)(2.75)(40) J  P=W/t=500×2.75 W

$${W}={Fs}={Fvt}=\left(\mathrm{500}\right)\left(\mathrm{2}.\mathrm{75}\right)\left(\mathrm{40}\right)\:{J} \\ $$$${P}={W}/{t}=\mathrm{500}×\mathrm{2}.\mathrm{75}\:{W} \\ $$
