	$a^{2} + c^{2} = 4^{2} . . . (i)$ $a^{2} + d^{2} = 8^{2} . . . (i i)$ $b^{2} + d^{2} = 7^{2} . . . (i i i)$ $(i) + (i i i) - (i i) :$ $a^{2} + c^{2} + b^{2} + d^{2} - a^{2} - d^{2} = 4^{2} + 7^{2} - 8^{2}$ $c^{2} + b^{2} = 4^{2} + 7^{2} - 8^{2} = 1 = x^{2}$ $\Rightarrow E A = x = \sqrt{1} = 1$ $g e n e r a l l y :$ ${E A}^{2} + {E D}^{2} = {E B}^{2} + {E C}^{2}$
