$$\frac{1}{1-\cos a}+\frac{1}{1+\cos a}=\frac{(1+\cos a)+(1-\cos a)}{(1-\cos a)(1+\cos a)}$$$$=\frac{2}{1-{\cos }^{2}a}$$$$=\frac{2}{{\sin }^{2}a}$$
