$$3\times \frac{n(n-1)(n-2)}{6}=7\times \frac{n(n-1)}{2}$$$$n-2=7$$$$\Rightarrow n=9$$$$$$$$check:$$$$C_3^9=84$$$$C_2^9=36$$$$3\times 84=252$$$$7\times 36=252$$
