What is the difference between  angular frequency and angular  velocity?

 ((2π)/T) and  (v/r)  , in many situations  they are the same.

$$\:\frac{\mathrm{2}\pi}{{T}}\:{and}\:\:\frac{{v}}{{r}}\:\:,\:{in}\:{many}\:{situations} \\ $$$${they}\:{are}\:{the}\:{same}. \\ $$

hmmm... meaning (v/r) is a formula  for angular velocity.
