ADsin 18° = asin (x°−36°)  ADcos 18°+acos (x°−36°)=2acos 36°  ⇒ ((asin (x°−36°)cos 18°)/(sin 18°))+acos (x°−36°)                                       =2acos 36°  or  sin (x°−36°+18°)=2sin 18°cos 36°  ⇒ x° = 18°+sin^(−1) (2sin 18°cos 36°)    ⇒  x° = 18°+sin^(−1) ((1/2)) = 48° .
