The thin film of water stands in   underpressure due to surface tension,  see diagram.  R cos θ=(d/2)  ⇒R=(d/(2cos θ))  Δp=(S/R)=((2S cos θ)/d)  F=Δp A=((2AS cos θ)/d)  with θ=0°  ⇒F=((2AS)/d)

But Δp should be ((2S)/R)?

No sir!  2R×Δp=2S  ⇒Δp=(S/R)
