v=ω(R+r)  u=ωR  ⇒  u=((vR)/(R+r))  displacement of point A by the time  spool makes one rotation        s_A  = v T = v(((2π)/ω)) = v×((2π)/(((v/(R+r)))))         = 2𝛑(R+r)  x=ut   and   x=Rcot ((θ/2))  ⇒   Rcot ((θ/2))=ut  ⇒   −(R/2)cosec^2 (θ/2)(dθ/dt) =u=((vR)/(R+r))  ⇒  ∣(dθ/dt)∣=(((2v)/(R+r)))sin^2 ((α/2))  hence   (3), and (4) are correct.
