A man takes 15days to dig 6 hectres.how long would 10 boys take to dig 81 hectres if 2 boys do the same amount of work as one man?

1man 15days 6hectres 1man ((15)/6)=(5/2)days 1hectre 1man 81×(5/2)=((405)/2)days 81hectres 1boy 2×((405)/2)=405days 81hectres 10boys ((405)/(10))=40.5days 81hectres what we have done: (((15/6)×81)×2)/10=((15×81×2)/(6×10))

10 boys=5 men (((men),(days),(hectres)),(( 1),( 15),( 6)),(( 5),( x),( 81)),(((inverse)),,((direct))) ) x:15:: { ((1:5)),((81:6)) :} x×5×6=15×1×81 x=((15×1×81)/(5×6))=40(1/2) days

Inverse proportion & direct proportion.

2boys → 6hectares → 15days 2boys → 81hectares → ((15)/6)×81days =((15×27)/2) =((405)/2) = 202(1/2) days 10boys → 81hectares → ((405)/2)×(2/(10)) = 40(1/2) days .
