$${log}_{x^{1/2}}64=3$$$$64={\left(x^{1/2}\right)}^3$$$$64=x^{3/2}$$$${\left(2\right)}^6=x^{3/2}$$$${\left(2\right)}^{6\times 2/3}=x$$$$2^4=x$$$$x=16$$
