This is a simple word problem.I think  it′s not a “puzzle”.

10t+u : your age  9(10t+u) : 3-digit number  90(10t+u)+40006 : 5-digit number  90(10t+u)+40006−9(10t+u)=42355  81(10t+u)=42355−40006=2349  10t+u=((2349)/(81))=29  :Your age  Note: Single variable can be used instead  of 10t+u.
