Any workings for this simultaneous equation ?          x^x  + y^y  = 31  ........ equation (i)            x + y = 5      ........ equation (ii)

$$\mathrm{Any}\:\mathrm{workings}\:\mathrm{for}\:\mathrm{this}\:\mathrm{simultaneous}\:\mathrm{equation}\:? \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\mathrm{x}^{\mathrm{x}} \:+\:\mathrm{y}^{\mathrm{y}} \:=\:\mathrm{31}\:\:........\:\mathrm{equation}\:\left(\mathrm{i}\right) \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\mathrm{x}\:+\:\mathrm{y}\:=\:\mathrm{5}\:\:\:\:\:\:........\:\mathrm{equation}\:\left(\mathrm{ii}\right) \\ $$

x=2   y=3  or x=3   y=2  5=1+4  but not satisfy ean 1  5=2+3  saisfy eqn 1  5=3+2   satisfy  5=4+1  not satisfy   x and y can not be fraction...  either x or y can be −ve number

$${x}=\mathrm{2}\:\:\:{y}=\mathrm{3}\:\:{or}\:{x}=\mathrm{3}\:\:\:{y}=\mathrm{2} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}=\mathrm{1}+\mathrm{4}\:\:{but}\:{not}\:{satisfy}\:{ean}\:\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}=\mathrm{2}+\mathrm{3}\:\:{saisfy}\:{eqn}\:\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}=\mathrm{3}+\mathrm{2}\:\:\:{satisfy} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}=\mathrm{4}+\mathrm{1}\:\:{not}\:{satisfy} \\ $$$$\:{x}\:{and}\:{y}\:{can}\:{not}\:{be}\:{fraction}... \\ $$$${either}\:{x}\:{or}\:{y}\:{can}\:{be}\:−{ve}\:{number} \\ $$$$ \\ $$
