let′s say the number is ab a=b+3 10×b+a=10×a+b−27 ⇒9b=9a−27 ⇒9b=9(b+3)−27 ⇒0=27−27 this is true for every possible digit b, i.e. b=1,2,3,4,5,6 so the requested number is one of 41,52,63,74,85,96

$${let}'{s}\:{say}\:{the}\:{number}\:{is}\:{ab} \\ $$$${a}={b}+\mathrm{3} \\ $$$$\mathrm{10}×{b}+{a}=\mathrm{10}×{a}+{b}−\mathrm{27} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\mathrm{9}{b}=\mathrm{9}{a}−\mathrm{27} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\mathrm{9}{b}=\mathrm{9}\left({b}+\mathrm{3}\right)−\mathrm{27} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\mathrm{0}=\mathrm{27}−\mathrm{27} \\ $$$${this}\:{is}\:{true}\:{for}\:{every}\:{possible}\:{digit}\:{b}, \\ $$$${i}.{e}.\:{b}=\mathrm{1},\mathrm{2},\mathrm{3},\mathrm{4},\mathrm{5},\mathrm{6} \\ $$$${so}\:{the}\:{requested}\:{number}\:{is}\:{one}\:{of}\: \\ $$$$\mathrm{41},\mathrm{52},\mathrm{63},\mathrm{74},\mathrm{85},\mathrm{96} \\ $$
