I don′t think it′s unique.

i have a notion, it′ll be a single  equation.

parabola ∩ circle has got 4 solutions, real  or complex ⇒ we′ll get polynomes of 4^(th)  degree  including 3 unknown and 1 parameter    we have 6 unknown p, q, x_A , y_A , x_B , y_B   par: y=q−px^2   par ∩ red circle =A= ((x_A ),(y_A ) )  par ∩ blue circle = B= ((x_B ),(y_B ) )  but I can′t see more than 2, maybe 4 equations  looks bad... but I′m usually too pessimistic

let parabola eq. be         y = c−Ax^2   let point of tangency with circle  with centre (r,r) and radius r be      P (h, c−Ah^2 )  slope of tangent to parabola =  slope of tangent to circle   ⇒   −2Ah = ((c−Ah^2 −r)/(h−r))  Also    (h−r)^2 +(c−Ah^2 −r)^2 =r^2   ⇒  (h−r)^2 +(((h−r)^2 )/(4A^2 h^2 )) = r^2   ⇒ (h−r)^2  = 4A^2 h^3 (2r−h)  ......
