$$9.9^{\mathrm{x}}+3.9^{\mathrm{x}}=36$$$$3.9^{\mathrm{x}}+9^{\mathrm{x}}=12$$$$4.9^{\mathrm{x}}=12$$$$9^{\mathrm{x}}=3$$$$3^{2\mathrm{x}}=3^1$$$$\Rightarrow 2\mathrm{x}=1$$$$\mathrm{x}=\frac{1}{2}$$
