5x+1=0 5x=−1 x=−(1/5)

$$\mathrm{5}{x}+\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{0} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}{x}=−\mathrm{1} \\ $$$${x}=−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{5}} \\ $$
