Question Number 45811 by gunay last updated on 17/Oct/18

(18+5x)×3=309

$$\left(\mathrm{18}+\mathrm{5x}\right)×\mathrm{3}=\mathrm{309} \\ $$

Answered by Rauny last updated on 17/Oct/18

3(18+5x)=309 18+5x=103 5x=103−18=85 x=17

$$\mathrm{3}\left(\mathrm{18}+\mathrm{5}{x}\right)=\mathrm{309} \\ $$$$\mathrm{18}+\mathrm{5}{x}=\mathrm{103} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}{x}=\mathrm{103}−\mathrm{18}=\mathrm{85} \\ $$$${x}=\mathrm{17} \\ $$
