$$x=\sqrt{5}-\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{x}}}}}}$$$$x=\sqrt{5}-\frac{5x+3}{8x+5}$$$$x^2+\frac{5-4\sqrt{5}}{4}x+\frac{3-5\sqrt{5}}{8}=0$$$$x_1=-\frac{7}{4}+\frac{\sqrt{5}}{2}$$$$x_2=\frac{1}{2}+\frac{\sqrt{5}}{2}$$
