1(8/9)=((17)/9) ((17)/9)=((2x−1)/5) we have to multiplicate by 9×5=45 5×17=9×(2x−1) 85=18x−9 94=18x x=((94)/(18))=((47)/9)=5(2/9)=5.2^•

$$\mathrm{1}\frac{\mathrm{8}}{\mathrm{9}}=\frac{\mathrm{17}}{\mathrm{9}} \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{17}}{\mathrm{9}}=\frac{\mathrm{2}{x}−\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{5}}\:\mathrm{we}\:\mathrm{have}\:\mathrm{to}\:\mathrm{multiplicate}\:\mathrm{by}\:\mathrm{9}×\mathrm{5}=\mathrm{45} \\ $$$$\mathrm{5}×\mathrm{17}=\mathrm{9}×\left(\mathrm{2}{x}−\mathrm{1}\right) \\ $$$$\mathrm{85}=\mathrm{18}{x}−\mathrm{9} \\ $$$$\mathrm{94}=\mathrm{18}{x} \\ $$$${x}=\frac{\mathrm{94}}{\mathrm{18}}=\frac{\mathrm{47}}{\mathrm{9}}=\mathrm{5}\frac{\mathrm{2}}{\mathrm{9}}=\mathrm{5}.\overset{\bullet} {\mathrm{2}} \\ $$
