(i) In△ABD and △BAC,  AD=BC  ∠BAD=∠BAC  AB=AB  ∴ △ABD ≅ △BAC by SAS axiom  ∴ BD=AC  (ii)  ∵△ABD ≅  △BAC  ∴∠ADB=∠BCA   ⇒∠ADO=∠BCO ...(1)  ∠AOD=∠BOC opposite angles  ∴ ∠OAD=∠OBC (third angle of △)                                          ....(2)  Now,  In △AOD and △BOC  ∠ADO=∠BCO   AD=AD  ∠OAD=∠OBC  ∴ △AOD ≅ △BOC by SAS axiom  ⇒OD=OC
