The value of  tan^(−1) (1/2) + tan^(−1) (1/3)  is

Thevalueoftan112+tan113is

we have tan(arctan((1/2))+arctan((1/3)))=  =(((1/2)+(1/3))/(1−(1/2).(1/3))) =((5/6)/(5/6)) =1 ⇒ arctan((1/2))+arctan((1/3))=arctan(1)=(π/4)

wehavetan(arctan(12)+arctan(13))==12+13112.13=5656=1arctan(12)+arctan(13)=arctan(1)=π4

tan^(−1) ((((1/2)+(1/3))/(1−(1/2)×(1/3))))=tan^(−1) (((5/6)/(5/6)))=tan^(−1) (1)=(π/4)

tan1(12+13112×13)=tan1(5656)=tan1(1)=π4
