  this is not a equation... LHS 3x−9+5 =3x−4 RHS 4x−x−4 =3x−4

$$ \\ $$$${this}\:{is}\:{not}\:{a}\:{equation}... \\ $$$${LHS}\:\:\mathrm{3}{x}−\mathrm{9}+\mathrm{5} \\ $$$$=\mathrm{3}{x}−\mathrm{4} \\ $$$${RHS} \\ $$$$\mathrm{4}{x}−{x}−\mathrm{4} \\ $$$$=\mathrm{3}{x}−\mathrm{4} \\ $$
