Question Number 50685 by majidedalt last updated on 18/Dec/18

if : 3x+1=7  x=?

$$\boldsymbol{\mathrm{if}}\::\:\mathrm{3}\boldsymbol{\mathrm{x}}+\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{7} \\ $$$$\boldsymbol{\mathrm{x}}=? \\ $$

Answered by OTCHRRE ABDULLAI last updated on 18/Dec/18

3x=7−1  3x=6  ((3x)/3)=(6/3)  x=2

$$\mathrm{3}{x}=\mathrm{7}−\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{3}{x}=\mathrm{6} \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{3}{x}}{\mathrm{3}}=\frac{\mathrm{6}}{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$$${x}=\mathrm{2} \\ $$
