A=i+(b/2)−1=7+2−1=8  i=7,b=4

$${A}={i}+\frac{{b}}{\mathrm{2}}−\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{7}+\mathrm{2}−\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{8} \\ $$$${i}=\mathrm{7},{b}=\mathrm{4} \\ $$

16−(1/2)(2×2+1×4+3×2)= 9cm^2

$$\mathrm{16}−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}\left(\mathrm{2}×\mathrm{2}+\mathrm{1}×\mathrm{4}+\mathrm{3}×\mathrm{2}\right)=\:\mathrm{9}{cm}^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$
