using binomial expansion   (1+2)^x +(1+3)^x =(1+4)^x

f(x)=3^x +4^x  is increasing function  g(x)=5^x  is increasing function  f(1)=3+4=7  g(1)=5  f(1)>g(1)  f(3)=3^3 +4^3 =91  g(3)=5^3 =125  f(3)<g(3)  ⇒there is one and only one solution between  1 and 3 for f(x)=g(x).  since f(2)=3^2 +4^2 =25=5^2 =g(x),  the only solution is x=2.
