$$\frac{2299}{7\mathrm{x}+20}=11$$$$\mathrm{cross}\mathrm{multiply}$$$$\therefore 11(7\mathrm{x}+20)=2299$$$$\mathrm{open}\mathrm{the}\mathrm{bracket}$$$$\therefore 77\mathrm{x}+220=2299$$$$\mathrm{Collect}\mathrm{the}\mathrm{like}\mathrm{terms}$$$$\therefore 77\mathrm{x}=2299-220$$$$\therefore 77\mathrm{x}=2079$$$$\mathrm{Divide}\mathrm{both}\mathrm{side}\mathrm{by}77$$$$\therefore \frac{77\mathrm{x}}{77}=\frac{2079}{77}$$$$\therefore \mathrm{x}=27$$

$$\frac{2299}{7x+20}=11$$$$7x+20=\frac{2299}{11}$$$$7x+20=209$$$$7x=189$$$$x=\frac{189}{7}=27$$
