$$2x-y=12...i)$$$$x+2y=23....ii)$$$$i)\times 24x-2y=24$$$$x+2y=23$$$$-----------$$$$\left(add\right)5x=47\Rightarrow x=\frac{47}{5}=9.4$$$$\therefore 9.4+2y=23\therefore y=\frac{23-9.4}{2}=6.8$$$$x=9.4y=6.8ans$$$$$$
