$$({\mu }_2-{\mu }_1)t=d\sin {\theta }_0$$$$\frac{y_0}{D}=\tan {\theta }_0\approx \sin {\theta }_0=\frac{({\mu }_2-{\mu }_1)t}{d}$$$$thisgives{y}_0\approx 1.25cm$$$$y_1=y_0+\frac{\lambda D}{d}=1.25cm\pm 0.49mm$$$$iwaswrong,andiamstillwrong,$$$$ishalltryagain..$$$$$$

But answers given are (a) 4.9×10^-4 m (b) 0.021 cm on one side and 0.028 cm on other side
