cost price=32 sell price=32+((32×25)/(100))=36 marked price be x x−((x×20)/(100)) is sell price =x−(x/5) =((4x)/5) ((4x)/5)=36 x=msrked price=45 i could not understand the meaning of 32 less 12.5% pls check the answer if not correct le md think

(100%−20%)x=(100%−12.5%)×32×(100%+25%) 0.8x=0.875×32×1.25 x=((0.875×32×1.25)/(0.8))=43.75 $

$$\left(\mathrm{100\%}−\mathrm{20\%}\right){x}=\left(\mathrm{100\%}−\mathrm{12}.\mathrm{5\%}\right)×\mathrm{32}×\left(\mathrm{100\%}+\mathrm{25\%}\right) \\ $$$$\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{8}{x}=\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{875}×\mathrm{32}×\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{25} \\ $$$${x}=\frac{\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{875}×\mathrm{32}×\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{25}}{\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{8}}=\mathrm{43}.\mathrm{75}\:\$ \\ $$
