Is the answer in Q55362 not clear? Do you have problem with method 1 (without calculus) or with method 2 (using calculus)?

My maths teacher told me that the answer was not that... but he also told me that it was method 2 (calculus) that he was waiting for... There is maybe a mistake in method 2...

since i got the same result with 2 totally different methods, i am quite sure that the result is correct. or you should specify what it meant with the move directions of A and B.
