Question Number 58609 by azizullah last updated on 26/Apr/19

Answered by Prithwish sen last updated on 26/Apr/19

((M.P)/(S.P))=((100)/(100−20))=((100)/(80))  ∴S.P=Rs.1600  Again,  ((C.P)/(S.P))=((100)/(100+25))=((100)/(125))  ∴C.P=Rs.1600×((100)/(125))              =Rs.1280

$$\frac{\mathrm{M}.\mathrm{P}}{\mathrm{S}.\mathrm{P}}=\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{100}−\mathrm{20}}=\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{80}} \\ $$$$\therefore\mathrm{S}.\mathrm{P}=\mathrm{Rs}.\mathrm{1600} \\ $$$$\mathrm{Again}, \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{C}.\mathrm{P}}{\mathrm{S}.\mathrm{P}}=\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{100}+\mathrm{25}}=\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{125}} \\ $$$$\therefore\mathrm{C}.\mathrm{P}=\mathrm{Rs}.\mathrm{1600}×\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{125}} \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:=\mathrm{Rs}.\mathrm{1280} \\ $$$$ \\ $$
