f(x)=3x^2 −2x+1 f(∣x∣)=3∣x∣^2 −2∣x∣+1 given x<−1 so ∣x∣=−x −∣x∣=x f(−∣x∣)=3x^2 −2x+1=2x^2 +(x−1)^2 g(x)=2x^2 +(x−1)^2 from attached curve of g(x) it is clear that a,b and d not true. ∫_(−4) ^(−2) 3x^2 −2x+1 dx =∣((3x^3 )/3)−((2x^2 )/2)+x∣_(−4) ^(−2) ={(−2)^3 −(−2)^2 +(−2)}−{(−4)^3 −(−4)^2 +(−4)} =(−8−4−2)−(−64−16−4) =−14+84=70
