$$Let\mid x\mid =a\mathrm{\&}\mid y\mid =b$$$$5a+4b=4$$$$2a-4b=10$$$$------$$$$7a=14$$$$\Rightarrow a=2\Rightarrow \mid x\mid =2\Rightarrow x=\pm 2$$$$\Rightarrow b=\frac{4-5\times 2}{4}=\frac{-3}{2}$$$$\Rightarrow \mid y\mid =\frac{-3}{2}whichisimpossible.$$$$pl.checkquestion...$$$$$$
