	$120 = x + y . . . (1)$ $l e t x > y$ $3 y = 2 x . . . (2)$ $f r o m (1)$ $240 = 2 x + 2 y$ $\Rightarrow 240 = 3 y + 2 y = 5 y f r o m (2)$ $\Rightarrow y = \frac{240}{5} = 48$ $x = 120 - 48 = 72$ ${D o n}^{'} t y o u r e a l l y u n d e r s t a n d t h e q u e s t i o n ?$

	$3 x = 2 (120 - x)$ $5 x = 240$ $x = 48$
