(1/((1/4)+(1/4)))=2 Ω 2+2=4 Ω I=(E/R)=((2V)/(4Ω))=0.5 A ⇒ answer

$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}+\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{4}}}=\mathrm{2}\:\Omega \\ $$$$\mathrm{2}+\mathrm{2}=\mathrm{4}\:\Omega \\ $$$${I}=\frac{{E}}{{R}}=\frac{\mathrm{2}{V}}{\mathrm{4}\Omega}=\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{5}\:{A}\:\:\Rightarrow\:{answer} \\ $$
