the discs are cylinders V=πr^2 h V=π×1^2 ×1+π×2^2 ×1+π×3^2 ×1=14π h=(V/(πr^2 ))=((14π)/(π×1^2 ))=14

$$\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{discs}\:\mathrm{are}\:\mathrm{cylinders} \\ $$$${V}=\pi{r}^{\mathrm{2}} {h} \\ $$$${V}=\pi×\mathrm{1}^{\mathrm{2}} ×\mathrm{1}+\pi×\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}} ×\mathrm{1}+\pi×\mathrm{3}^{\mathrm{2}} ×\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{14}\pi \\ $$$${h}=\frac{{V}}{\pi{r}^{\mathrm{2}} }=\frac{\mathrm{14}\pi}{\pi×\mathrm{1}^{\mathrm{2}} }=\mathrm{14} \\ $$
