$${area}\:{square}=\left(\mathrm{100}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} =\mathrm{10000} \\ $$$${area}\:{rectangle}=\mathrm{125}×\mathrm{85}= \\ $$$$\frac{{area}\:{rectangle}}{{area}\:{square}}=\frac{\mathrm{125}×\mathrm{85}}{\mathrm{100}×\mathrm{100}}=\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{4}}×\frac{\mathrm{17}}{\mathrm{20}}=\frac{\mathrm{17}}{\mathrm{16}} \\ $$

$$\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{25}×.\mathrm{85}=\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{0625}=\frac{\mathrm{17}}{\mathrm{16}} \\ $$
