$$areasquare={\left(100\right)}^2=10000$$$$arearectangle=125\times 85=$$$$\frac{arearectangle}{areasquare}=\frac{125\times 85}{100\times 100}=\frac{5}{4}\times \frac{17}{20}=\frac{17}{16}$$

$$1.25\times .85=1.0625=\frac{17}{16}$$
