the diagonal is (√((14+9)^2 +7^2 ))=17(√2) ⇒ x=17

$$\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{diagonal}\:\mathrm{is} \\ $$$$\sqrt{\left(\mathrm{14}+\mathrm{9}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{7}^{\mathrm{2}} }=\mathrm{17}\sqrt{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\:{x}=\mathrm{17} \\ $$
