U_n +U_(n+1)  =∫ _0 ^(1 ) ((x^n +x^(n+1) )/(1+x)) dx  = ∫_0 ^1  ((x^n (1+x))/(1+x)) dx = (x^(n+1) /(n+1)) ∣_0 ^1   = (1/(n+1))
