$$v_x=v_1\cos {30}^o=20.\left(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\right)=10\sqrt{3}$$$$v_y=v_2\sin {30}^o=5.\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)=\frac{5}{2}$$$$R=\sqrt{v_x^2+v_y^2+2v_x{v}_y\cos {30}^o}$$$$=\sqrt{300+\frac{25}{4}+50\sqrt{3}.\left(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\right)}$$$$=\sqrt{375+\frac{25}{4}}=\sqrt{25(15+\frac{1}{4})}$$$$=\frac{5\sqrt{61}}{2}m.s^{-1}$$
