$$V_r=230-180=50V$$$$R_t=\frac{5r}{5+r}$$$$fromthemaxpowertheorem,r=R$$$$\Rightarrow r=5\mathrm{\Omega }$$$$I_1=\frac{V_r}{R_t}=20A$$$$I_2=\frac{V}{R_{t2}}=48A\left(approx\right)$$$$I=I_1+I_2=68A$$
