x^4 −2(a+3)x^2 +4x+a(a+2)=0 (x^2 −2x−a)(x^2 +2x−(a+2))=0 x_(1, 2) =1±(√(a+1)) x_(3, 4) =−1±(√(a+3)) ⇒ a≥−1 to get only real solutions
