x+y=(√2)cos 45=(√2)×(1/(√2))=1 Perpendicular line on right side xtan 60=(√2)sin 45⇒x=(1/(tan 60))=(1/(√3)) y=1−(1/(√3))=(((√3)−1)/(√3))

$${x}+{y}=\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}\mathrm{cos}\:\mathrm{45}=\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}×\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}}=\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{Perpendicular}\:\mathrm{line}\:\mathrm{on}\:\mathrm{right}\:\mathrm{side} \\ $$$${x}\mathrm{tan}\:\mathrm{60}=\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}\mathrm{sin}\:\mathrm{45}\Rightarrow{x}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{tan}\:\mathrm{60}}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}} \\ $$$${y}=\mathrm{1}−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}}=\frac{\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}−\mathrm{1}}{\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}} \\ $$
