Show that the followings  (i)sin(a+b)=sina cosb +cosa sinb  (ii)cos(a−b)=cosa cosb +sina sinb

P(sinα,cosα)  Q(sinβ,cosβ)  A(1,0)  O(0,0)  ∠POQ=β−α    PQ^2 = { (((sinα−sinβ)^2 +(cosα−cosβ)^2 )),((OP^2 +OQ^2 −2OP∙OQ∙cos∠POQ)) :}  (sinα−sinβ)^2 +(cosα−cosβ)^2 =1+1−2cos(β−α)  sin^2 α+sin^2 β+cos^2 α+cos^2 β−2sinαsinβ−2cosαcosβ=2+2cos(α−β)  sinαsinβ+cosαcosβ=cos(β−α)    (ii)α=b, β=a  sina sinb+cosa cosb=cos(a−b)    (i)α=(1/2)π−b, β=a  sina sin((1/2)π−b)+cosa cos((1/2)π−b)=cos(a+b−(1/2)π)  sina cosb+cosa sinb=sin(a+b)
