((tan 3a)/(tan a)) = k  show that ((sin 3a)/(sin a)) = ((2k)/(k−1))

$$\frac{\mathrm{tan}\:\mathrm{3a}}{\mathrm{tan}\:\mathrm{a}}\:=\:\mathrm{k} \\ $$$$\mathrm{show}\:\mathrm{that}\:\frac{\mathrm{sin}\:\mathrm{3a}}{\mathrm{sin}\:\mathrm{a}}\:=\:\frac{\mathrm{2k}}{\mathrm{k}−\mathrm{1}} \\ $$

tan 3a = k tan a  ((3tan a−tan^3 a)/(1−3tan^2 a)) = k tan a  3−tan^2  a = k − 3k tan^2 a  (3k−1)tan^2 a = k−3  tan^2 a = ((k−3)/(3k−1))⇒cot^2 a = ((3k−1)/(k−3))  csc^2  a = 1+ cot^2  a = 1+((3k−1)/(k−3))  csc^2  a = ((4k−4)/(k−3)) ⇒ sin^2  a = ((k−3)/(4k−4))  ⇒ ((sin 3a)/(sin a)) = ((3sin a−4sin^3 a)/(sin a))  = 3−4sin^2 a = 3 −4(((k−3)/(4k−4)))  = 3−(((k−3)/(k−1))) = ((3k−3−k+3)/(k−1))  = ((2k)/(k−1))
