9.9^− =9+(9/(10))+(9/(10^2 ))+... =(9/(1−(1/(10))))=10

$$\mathrm{9}.\overset{−} {\mathrm{9}}=\mathrm{9}+\frac{\mathrm{9}}{\mathrm{10}}+\frac{\mathrm{9}}{\mathrm{10}^{\mathrm{2}} }+... \\ $$$$=\frac{\mathrm{9}}{\mathrm{1}−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{10}}}=\mathrm{10} \\ $$
