let the sport car overtakes the car at t second after the car passes the sport car  the distance of the car = the area below the graph of the car =20t meter  the distance of the sport car=the area below the graph of the sport car=((t−10+t−20)/2)×30=(30t−450) meter  the sport car will overtake the car if  20t=30t−450       t=45 second  at the distance = 20×45=900 meter
